Hypothetical with BK and Lacey with discipline.

Say BK decides to send a message and benches Lacey for this game....and maybe with S. Carolina. (I know, highly unlikely!) Say Lacey gets pissed and becomes a problem like Boutte and he ends up off the team.
Will the same people saying BK better get this team disciplined have his back if it played out this way.
I know there are different ways to discipline players and all, but you never know how players respond. Some take accountability, some don't.
But I get the feeling if it did play out like this, the same people would bitch no matter what he does. It's not enough discipline...or too much!
Just curious on rants thoughts.
Hopefully, it's all behind us and better days/games ahead.

You don't bench him the game after against Nicholls. That doesn't prove anything. Your hypothetical is dumb as frick. Also, his name is Lacy.

Lacy has NO DAMN SAY!!!! This is Brian Kelly’s Football team and if he wants to keep it, he needs to play by only his rules, otherwise he will lose the team!!!

1. This is such a ridiculous scenario where you just continue to add hypotheticals.
2. I personally give frick all about Lacy's penalty. He made enough plays (when we were still deciding to throw to him) that idc.
Burns penalty is much more egregious because he already sucks, why add 15 yards for being stupid too?
