Honestly, I might agree with you. But at the same time, Lane has had some trouble in big games in the past too. His offenses are really good at beating shitty to average teams but when faced with an elite defense, he often folds

He’s had his fair share of chances - he might break through but he has had chances because of his dad. They still got to prove they can beat the big boys. Old Freeze had them in top 10 and beat Bama several times.

He has titles and worked his way through the ranks. He won at Grand Valley State, had Cincinnati rolling and won conference, took ND to title game and won SEC West title in 1st year at LSU. Name any title Lame won! Give me one. He’s like LSU backup QB - the greatest. He was fired on tarmac at USC. Al Davis said he was biggest liar he ever seen. Nick Saban fires him the week of NC game. That’s saying something. How many people fall in pile of shite and come out smelling like roses - that Old Lame Kiffin. He had a Power 5 elite job and failed at USC. He was at a blue blood.

Posters on this site hate Lane for some reason. His playcalling is upper tier, he recruits his arse off and his players love playing for him. He would routinely win 10-11 games here. He has finally figured out how to win in this league. Lane is going to be a top 5 coach in this Country.
