Everyone, and I mean everyone (teammates, coaches, football experts) say this kid is so special that he might be the best in this century. Said he is pro ready right now and is mature beyond his years, mentally, physically, and talent wise. I think he is the 1st true freshman to start at WR at OSU. Can't wait to see this kid play with all the hype.

Cris Carter started as a freshman as did Ted Ginn Jr.

If their spring and fall practices/scrimmages are any indication, he might be the best WR in cfb for the next 3 years. Kid is legit.

We will see how he handles the spotlight, but he’s a freak on paper. Would have tested better than anyone at the combine last year.

the other receivers he won the starting nod over says a LOT. was already one of the best wr rooms in the country.

10-4. I wasn’t sure about Carter. He started 8/12 games as a frosh but not game 1. Crazy to think Smith is where he is considering the WR room he’s in.
