#1 in the land vs #14 and it's a noon Eastern kickoff? Don't understand this at all.

Bc modern CFB is a TV show. They’re just trying to spread the good shows out

I would venture to say opening weekend it might be the best timeslot. Everyone been waiting all offseason and itching for a game to watch.

Because Georgia is going to slaughter Clemson.

#7ND vs #20 A&M is going to be a much better primetime matchup.

b/c the TV networks and whores inside the college admins prefer short term monetary gains over doing what's right for the long term health of the game.

Explain to me how this is bad for the health of the game?

Spread the love, all day affair..... Who wants to wait all day for games that are on at the same?

Roll out of bed, game on. Remember when morning games were always just Akron/Indiana?

I think its the perfect time for that game.

I’m watching 3 games tomorrow:

1) GOOD- Clemson vs Georgia

2) BETTER- Miami vs Florida

3) BEST- Notre Dame vs A&M

3 great games in perfect order

Couldn’t ask for a better setup

If Clemson-Georgia was at 3.30 or 7:30 I would skip it

It's a known fact that the game being completely centered on what TV wants be is game times to conference affiliations is causing attendance to drop. The long term effect of that is less people attending games which means less people become longtime hardcore fans which means you have less people to promote the game to younger people. Youth participation in football, both in PeeWee and High School has fallen off a cliff. So we're in a situation where kids aren't playing and they are far less likely to attend. If you want to slowly choke a sport out making it too expensive and inconvenient for people to enjoy in person is a great way to do it. TV networks DGAF about that since they get none of that money and they are all run by a bunch of Wall Street dickheads who could give two shits about anything other than lining their pockets as quickly as possible.

Man somebody should check this guy for razor blades. He seems to be taking things pretty hard. Is Georgia or Clemson having attendance issues?
