ESPN is having a preview of the Peach Bowl and was talking about a Purple Out for the Tigers. Has this been talked about? What do you guys think?

Georgia Tech is the home team and will wear the dark jerseys, but which one? Johnson would not say whether his team will wear navy blue or gold.

Georgia Tech's non-white uniform is usually blue, but the team has worn gold at various times.

"We're going to have one," Johnson said when asked. "I don't know, we'll let that be a big surprise."

LSU will wear white.

Lets try this again. The University has asked LSU fans to support their team by wearing purple at the game. This is the first i've heard of it.

actually for the last decade or so our home jersey has been gold. this year we went back to tradition and wore white home and away. blue has always been an alternate expect for scattered seasons.

Ga Tech wore blue when they played ND on "rudy", if that helps.

we solicited you fellers' help when we re-re-re-re-petitioned the NCAA to allow us to wear white at home in 1995.

i think that the blue looks better than the gold. but, i also like our purple jerseys just as much as our white ones. i am not that superstitous. in fact, miracles do occur when we wear purple.

but very poor play (while wearing the purple) leads to the miracles. troy 08 and tulane 07. but i did like the purples from the tulane game in 07

i think our blue looks not as terrible as our gold ones. i use to care about the uni's but since we went to our new arena league uni's this year no matter what color combo we do it's looks like crap. that's just me though, i liked our old standard strips around the arm and down the legs.
