Does anyone know what time the gates at Allegiant stadium open? I plan on getting an uber to the stadium from our resort (off the strip) early to beat the rush/traffic.

From what I’ve heard, the stadium is a dump. And a city like Vegas should have no problem accommodating a college football game, meaning traffic won’t be any worse than a normal day. I’d plan to spend the least amount of time as possible in the stadium

A virtually new stadium (4 years old) and is state of the art. Nobody says it is a dump. Why rain on their parade?

A dump? LOL! As nice a stadium as there is in the US.

Based off the rankings of SKC and Superdome, that list is a joke.

The stadium is nice, people were probably inconvenienced because you can’t really walk to it unless you’re crossing over i15. It’s on the opposite side of everything, so it will a pain to get to by ride share.

from what you have heard, a four year old stadium that cost $2 billion dollars is a dump?

I have been there. The Stadium is very nice but getting in and out of the stadium is kind of a bitch.
It is across the Interstate from the Mandalay Bay end of the strip.

Car traffic in and out of the stadium from the strip is really bad. From the Bellagio side of the strip it is all surface streets to the stadium and there is very little lot parking. Mostly businesses and street parking. From the Paris side of the strip, you have to drive cross the interstate or get on the interstate to get to the stadium

All of the public and mass transportation options are on the other side of the interstate at Mandalay Bay.

So when the game ends most people walk across the Hacienda Bridge to Mandalay Bay and wait for the car line, bus line or walk to MGM for the nearest access to the monorail line.

There was supposed to be an express shuttle bus system running from downtown on the Stadium side (Western) of I-15 but Covid killed that initiative

it is the result of Oakland fans bombing the new stadium after the team left and people attending concerts there and having a bad experience
