I just found out this place existed while looking for ideas for a little road trip this weekend. Has anyone stayed ? How was it ?

It has been a few years but yes.
The cabins are older but we enjoyed our stay.
My brother lives about 30min from there and he goes fishing there alot.
Not a bad place IMO

Have stayed once in the Group Camp that sleeps 38 people.
My dad's family started getting it for the family reunion. It's great. Two huge bedrooms with bunk beds. Little kids and folks who go to bed early on one side & night owls on the other side. Both with doors that lead to the common area and both bathrooms.. Big bath with showers and another one that's just a bathroom. Big kitchen with lots of counter space an island in the middle and an ice machine..Plenty of area to set up fish cookers and grills in the shade out front.Enough room for 40-50 folks to sit down and eat, with a flat screen TV to watch the the NCAA Baseball tournament with a bunch of Arkansas, a few LSU, a few Mizzou, & one Bama fan.

It's been a few years so don't know about upgrades. It is a nice park, cabins are among the oldest in the state, some build by CCC/WPA. great for hiking, kayak, canoe, etc....

Stayed there 3 times in the last year to go fish Bussey Break. The cabins are nice and quiet. Stayed in Cabin 1 and cabin 2. Prefer cabin1 just cause it was easier to park the boat there and turn around. Never had a single issue and plan on staying there again soon.
