I've used Mobile Tint & Audio a couple of times, and their tint work is great, however I was a little displeased with a "hardwire" installation.

I used to go to Tiger Audio in Gonzales for all my needs, but he is no longer around. He had a guy (Chris?) that used to do tinting (I think through a partnership; wasn't an employee) while Derek did all the audio, hardwire, etc. installations.

Who do you guys still recommend on there?

Ridiculous that dashcams arent a pretty standard feature in 2024. Cost to add one to manufacturers is minimal compared to other features

I can only imagine the trial lawyer lobby is hard against it because it would make it too easy to figure out who is at fault and how bad the accident really was.

I completely agree with you. I also think from a safety standpoint, blind spot detection, collision avoidance mitigation, and stay in your lane assist should be standard as well.

Those features are way more common than dashcams which makes no sense because a dashcam is way cheaper

Until you start to subconsciously rely on it, the cam sensor goes bad and all of a sudden you have two wheels on the guard rail while eating your boudin balls going over Whiskey Bay.

Yes, they are, but I often see them on "higher" end models. I'm speaking to seeing these features on every base model.

Some lane assist tend to "overcorrect." I don't think anything substitutes for truly paying attention while driving, and having at least one hand on the wheel, while monitoring what is ahead, behind, and to the side of you.

Agree

I only use it for short periods of time and not in heavy traffic or 2 lane roads

Kirk’s in Gonzales recently tinted the windows on my truck. He did a great job from what I could tell.

Auto Evolution off of O'Neal in BR. Actually found them on here a few years ago, and have now done multiple vehicles with Russell and have zero complaints. Coworkers have went there and have had nothing but good things to say.

Go to the B-Quik on Greenwell Springs Rd. and find Squeaky, he'll be loitering out front with the rest of 'em. He has a flat rate of $125 for any vehicle.
You can also ask about his discount on some weed, if you're looking.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with the vibration thing, but disable the steer control. I love the blind spot amber warning light on a big SUV though.

I can tell where my mind is at.

At first glance I read your thread topic as "Tit shops in the Baton Rouge..."

Unfortunately, I think there are more tint shops in Baton Rouge today than tit shops, at least ones that are "reputable."
