All appliances are not the same. Your make doesn't really help. The model number is needed if you're looking for advice.
Asking for general help can only get you general responses.
Especially if it's a Kenmore because Kenmores are literally produced by a dozen brands and can be Whirlpool or LG or even Chinese makes not sold here.

Without the model number the best reply you'll get is a guess.

replying to this for follow up on a recent thread. I have a Bosch 800 (model number B36CT80SNS) that stopped making ice. You replied that "water frozen behind the crisper drawer" is a common culprit. Could you help with which crisper drawer (I'm assuming the left side drawer which is in the fridge but above the ice maker) and how should I go about addressing this? thanks a bunch!

Looking at your parts breakdown. I don't see a reservoir on your model behind the drawer. I don't see a reservoir anywhere. Usually it's behind the lowest shelf. Looks like your water is cooked near the filter. But it's hard to tell. Bosch is horrible with diagrams.

Only sears has their diagrams.

sears link.

I would change the solenoid in this case.

Napoleon,
I have series 600 Delta shower faucet that leaks at the neck of the handle and faucet. The bonnet nut will not release and I am cognizant of the face I could ruin the soldered connections in the wall if I was not careful. I tried penetrating oil on the bonnet nut. I used a white vinegar saturated wash cloth and let it sit. A pipe wrench and tapping did not work. Nuttin.

Is the only thing left is to the Dremel the bonnet nut?
Thanks,
Yew

For rental property? Ideal Appliance on Division. They have good bulk prices.
I would also suggest Drye Supply on veterans.

The nut is seized and you can grip the pipe with a wrench then crank the nut with anther wrench?
If you can't drenel or a nut splitter may be your only option.

Well, as long as you're giving out free info, what years and makes of easy to work on electric stoves do you see that give good service? Glass top would be slightly preferred but the old coil element burners would be ok for this purpose too. Just something reliable.

If you have the time, thanks.

I've always been a fan of frigidaire glass tops not thar they are much better. But that they are easy to work on. The parts are cheaper than ge or WP and they seem solid. Most stoves the burners are over $100 ea I can get them for half that for frigidaire.
Coil stoves? Whichever doesn't have a computer. Like Hotpoint or Amana, rental brands.

I need help with possibly replacing ice maker on a Whirlpool W10749399 A. I have sent two emails but have not received a response.

Does your company have the initials AAS? If not can you provide the name of your company?

Napoleon, looking for a part if you have any sources. Discontinued by GE and I have searched everywhere local and online. GE refrigerator GTS18DCPALWW. Part is General Electric Drawer Slide WR17X11226. Center piece that supports the two bottom drawers. Any ideas?

For things like stackable washer & dryer, is it advisable to get them repaired, or is it better to just buy new? There is a Kenmore unit that does not heat in the dryer and the washer is wobbly - won't stay balanced, and even wobbles if there's nothing but water in it. I don't see a model number or data plate on it.
