His velocity has been down on his fastball for a few weeks.
Probably just additional rest for him.

He didn't get bumped. He was never supposed to pitch today. Posters here made bad assumptions b/c they don't pay attention. He doesn't pitch every 5th game. He's been pitching every 6 days which is often every 5th game. But the pirates didn't have an off day b/t today and his last start so they weren't going to move him 'up' to today. Some fantasy sites might have listed him as a probable starter, but that doesn't mean shite.

It's his normal rest unless he doesn't pitch tomorrow. That would be additional rest. He has not pitched on 4 days of rest yet. So I have no idea why people thought he would start that today considering it's much more likely they begin to stretch out his starts (or reduce innings) as opposed to reducing his rest.

Is this still the case? I would like to try and make a game but knowing which game he is pitching is my dilemma. Is there a way to know when Paul is pitching?
