I’ve been watching lots of past LSU highlights (as I do every preseason) and totally forgot about some really good games players had. What are some of your favorite individual performances that are not often remembered?

Mine is Terrance Magee with 220 all purpose yards and 2 TDs against Kentucky in 2014. He also had 149 rush yards on 13 att. vs. A&M the year before. Not many other big statistical games for him.

Brady Dalfrey threw two more passes in 2008 than Russell Shepard threw in his entire LSU career.

Malik Nabers with 239 receiving yards vs Mississippi State last year was impressive. Also I know we lost the game but Kevin Minter getting 20 tackles vs Florida in 2012. Finally, Lavar Edwards scoring two TDs (and nearly had a 3rd) as a backup defensive end.

Can we give some flowers to Darell Williams? We had to pry him away from going out of state to one of the Arizona schools after we played around offering him way later. Because of how ridiculous Fournette and Guice was, he didnt see the field much his first two seasons outside of blowouts and weak OOC opponents.

In his 3rd season and although it was much of the same, he was able to go into the Mizzou game and ballout. On 21 carries, he had 130 yards at 6.2 ypc with 3 TDs. Fournette being hurt most of the year gave him a chance. However after that game, he got 27 carries TOTAL over the next 7 games.

While that game was random on the surface that year, we soon realized just how good Williams was too. The next year with just Guice, he tore it up as a #2 back. We also saw the crazy receiving abilities too. He had 820 rush yards and 9 TDs with 331 receiving yards at 14.4 ypr. He had 1150 yards from scrimmage. His rare random game this year was the 100/100 game he had vs Ole Miss. While he didn't score, he had 22 carries for 103 yards and 4 receptions for 105 yards.

Jets vs Oklahoma…what a fricking first half, probably the most dominant first half I’ve ever witnessed, and it was the semi finals of the playoffs!

The best stat of that entire game… at the end of the first half. Burrow currently has more passing touchdowns (7) than OU has completions (5).

Love Shep, but Brady Dalfrey threw better passes than Russell Shepard.
