If anyone has a last minute guy back out I would be interested. Flying out of Chicago so flight not a problem.

How you gonna do that? The ticketmaster fees alone are gonna be $50

Why are the last minute decisions of strangers dictating your plans?

If you want to go, go.

Dude, there are still tickets on the LSU site for $144. They’ll drop to below $100 pre-game but you won’t have much flexibility on where you want to sit.

Just go!

You’ll be able to get tickets. Went to ‘19 SEC title & OU playoff games with my dad and both games ran into people we knew that gave us free tickets in much better seats. Then we found people that didn’t have tickets or were having trouble logging into their stubhub accounts and gave our original ones away both times. I’ve never not been able to get a ticket at the venue just walking around for a game no matter how in demand the game was. Closer the kickoff the cheaper they’ll be obviously. I remember in ‘07 someone tried to give my dad and I $1k for our UF tickets on campus and we were in the upper deck. I was young at the time and wanted the money but I’m so glad my dad said no. Those games and others are by far my most cherished memories with him. We really have nothing in common other than LSU sports but we both love it so much we never go without something to talk about

How the hell did we get here where we allow one company to charge fees like this without any alternative?

Idk how to avoid it. The last few games I've been to didn't have physical tickets. Everything was electronic so there's no scalpers or people walking around holding up tickets for sale.

Then there's the issue with ticketmaster taking so long to send your tickets over. Seems like once you buy your tickets through ticketmaster you then have to wait for the seller to send them to ticketmaster. That took close to an hour last time I did this so you can't wait until the very last minute to buy

Sports venues/team organizations/conferences ALL were 'sold' the supposed 'advantages' of mobile/e-tickets...took full financial ADVANTAGE w/o passing on ANY benefit whatso-ever to the fans who actually purchase the tickets and have had to contort themselves figuratively and more important financially....ALL this tech crap benefits the people who devise all this new/improved shite and the teams/organizations who reap but do NOT share ANY of the $ advantages/benefits !
