“A sarcastic remark I made three years ago”? That’s rather disingenuous since he repeated it multiple times in prepared speeches. I’d call it more of a core belief he touted. She is simply asking if he wants to stand by his stated beliefs. ***spoiler*** He does.

No, I disagree with you. When a VP candidate is on record saying he believes some people have more voting rights than others, I do believe he needs to be questioned on such statements. Again, he’s already said he still believes this.
I think that kind of thinking needs to be addressed before he’s allowed to assume the office of VP. How it wasn’t before election to the senate is shocking.
