Growing up as a late gen x and knowing the early millennials, it was over! Our parents were more worried about than us.

Race relations were the best they had ever been in this country up until Obama went in. That is true. They had also been better the 10-12 years prior to that.

I partially blame Obama for the Dallas and Baton Rouge shootings. He threw gas on the anti-police rhetoric around racism. There is no evidence to support that unarmed black people are shot regularly by cops. It’s maybe around 10 people per year that are found to be a bad shooting. .
