We booked a trip for two on St Claire st in Frankfort for 5 days. Will travel around to see several distilleries in the area. Will also travel to Louisville for a day trip. Anything worth checking out in the area? Anything an hour half out from Frankfort is fine. One day we may go to red river gorge if time allows
Will do the tour at Buffalo trace and wild Turkey. Many of the others on my list we will just go walk around or buy drinks at the bars. No need to tour them all. Seen one seen them all.

You can do a tour of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum. Keeneland isn't far away in Lexington, and their fall schedule starts October 4th if you want to go to a horse race. We did that last time LSU was in Lexington, along with the bourbon tours. It was a spectacle to be sure, if you've never been to a horse race.
