Under Armour Game vs Army AA game

I am sure a lot of people here have biased thoughts given Shepard is in the UA game, but outside of Tiger eyes and on a broader scope, what game is the better this year?
I think it has to be hands down the Under Armour game. Possibly the best talent is just in this region, so it might be coincidental.
Then again, I think with ESPN picking up more coverage the week leading up to the game and then airing it on their national network, it will soon overtake the Army game as the highlight show each season.
Thoughts?

QB wise there's no comparison, but overall I'll still take the AA game

The Army AA game is more prestigious imo. But, the UA has much more talent than ever this year. So, I'm more excited about the UA this year.

This year I will be looking forward to Under Armour Game. The most exciting thing about the Army Game, in my opinion, will be the William Campbell's decision

the AAA game has had a better setup and pageantry, more appealing for television viewing as far as aesthetics...but as far as talent on the field im drifting more to UA

the army all-american game is always better IMO.

Army simply because it has the better announcements. Neither are very good though, because all star games suck dick anyways.

people watch for commitments. no one watches the game, even though they are decent to watch.

me too. Was the UA game at night last year? I think it was during the day.
it seems they are trying to showcase it more this year.

Ro, I think we should ask this AFTER the UA game.
Talent wise it is no comparison as UA is loaded this year.
However, the setup UA had for their game last year sucked...from what I've heard they have made everything more professional for better viewing.
I'm interested to see what UA looks like this year aesthetically...

the UA game seems to be a much more exciting match-up. Much more speed on the DL and at LBer, with much better QBs. I'll be checking out the West team on the AA game, but kinda feel like this game will be boring with the top signal callers being at the UA game. The UA game went out and got the play makers at LBer and QB, securing the sexiest positions on the field in such games and thus passed the AA game by a mile, now its left up to their presentation.

I'll tell you one thing. If you want to see some linebacking play then the AAA game is the one to watch. That talent pool right there is ridiculous.

Im pumped to see Ray Ray Armstrong on defense.
Also excited to see Trent R. run behind a solid offensive line as a primary back.
And ready for some Shepard to Debose.

My Take:
ARMY AA GAME:
-better history
-better pageantry
-still has better overall talent
-better announcements
-plays the game in a real stadium, has a real football game feel when watching
-Rivals connection
but..
-Tom Lemming makes me sick
-The Notre Dame plugs on NBC is nauseating
-They don't talk about the players on the field when action is occurring (usually Notre Dame or other bowl game chatter)
-Rivals connection even pushed the the ND chatter
-NBC cameras (normally otherworldly for NFL games) make it look like they are broadcasting a Grambling/Southern matchup
UNDER ARMOUR:
-ESPN/ABC cameras are incredible
-Getting better talent each year
-No Notre Dame sh*t
-Actually talk about the play of the players, and comment on the action on the field
-when a player makes a play, they talk about him and show some HS footage
...but
-looks like they are playing on a flag football field, no stands or fans to speak of
-ESPN Recruiting guru's <<< Rivals guru's
-hokey announcement sofa's...on a football field
Ideally for me, I'd like Rivals to join up with UA's/ESPN's outstanding production & go to a real stadium. Then all would be right in the HS AA game world.

Personally I'm just glad there is now more competition and more kids getting exposure. Both games are fun to watch...it's a win/win. If I had to pick I would say AA has the edge, b/c they have been doing it longer and seem to have their act together. I think eventually the UA game will overtake it b/c of the ESPN factor. Everything they do seems to take over as "the" event.
