Anyone play Coppermill lately?

If so, how are the greens?

I've never played it so I was going to make the trip Saturday. The earliest tee time available is 10:05. So looked up Beaver Creek and they don't have anything until 3:55. I may call Greystone since I've never played it and it looks intriguing, I may go hit the little 9 hole goat ranch in Clinton or may head to Natchez to play Beau Pre or Duncan park hell at this point I don't know where the hell I want to go but all of the courses I mentioned are all about the same drive for me. I can make it through a mid-day summer round but I'll have my girlfriend tagging along and I would rather not have her overheated and miserable.

They were terrific about six weeks ago.

Copper was in really good shape 10 days ago before all the rain. I’m sure it’s better now once it drys out a little bit.

Played Saturday.

Furry and wet. Couple sand spots on some which is quite perplexing given they just redid there greens.

It is frustrating. Obviously picked the wrong year (last year) to redo the greens. The drought really hurt. This year would have been much better.
Hoping those sand areas improve with rain, time, and tlc.
Copper is not primo, but it’s as good as it’s been in a long time.

I think they got armadillo issues on some of them.
