Why does Speaker Mike Johnson say Israel is our greatest ally?

I had to replay it to make sure what I heard is correct…what war has Israel fought alongside us in? What funds does Israel send to the US? How does supporting Israel further the protection and welfare of US citizens in America?

They are our biggest allie do you not get it surveillance saves lives just as well Iove isreal I will stand with them

There is really no debating that the British and Commonwealth (Canada/Australia/NZ) nations hold that title.
