side hustle? my man you need to just get another job. A buddy in mine in Colombia has 3 jobs each paying close to 6 figures.

You can easily handle 2.

A guy in my neighborhood is making bank washing trash and recycle bins. He charges $15/can (so $30 per HH) and has his own pressure washing / water source he brings. I bet it takes him 5 min to complete a house and he does like 20-30 houses every day the trash is out.

Interesting, does he just let the runoff into the street? Looking at my trash can, it would be some stank for a while if I just let it roll down my driveway. Granted we don't really have "ditches"

Not sure…he did our last week and not smell or street debris evidence. If he was creating a bunch of stank around the neighborhood then he would quickly lose his reputation…so assuming he has some way around it. Assuming he rolls them close to a gutter for the spray.

Whew, I couldn’t charge enough to be able to do that. I don’t have a weak stomach for biology in general but the intense smell of rotting garbage will get my Lunch back up again.

I’d cut grass with an old rotary push mower before I touch strangers’ trash cans.

I have a day job that has a lot of dead periods and work that comes in late in the evening. I finished my basement while I was doing it so I thought, I can do this as a side hustle. I’ve been doing handyman work and remodels. This year my day job was really slow and I was able to pull off 2 kitchens but I’m doing a basement next and that’s really where I need to be. I’ve done a lot of different things though, backup sump pumps, water softeners, EV chargers, and if I have to pull a permit, I make sure it’s a municipality where a homeowner can do their own work and make them pull it
