Mc-ALL Electric.
Prairieville,LA They install Cummins generators
Phone: (225) 250-0056
I'm curious on your reasoning for a preference for Cummins?

I know a few people who have had issues with rhe Briggs motor in the generacs.
The one guy I know running the small cummins has had zero issues.
Beyond that... No real reason.

I had a 25kw Cummings installed at the house. Its a water cooled 1800 rmp that is very quite. Very happy with it. I don't know if it is still the case but in the past Cummings would rate their generator using NG and you get a 10-15% increase in KW if using propane.
All others rate theirs using propane so you get a 10-15% drop in KW if using NG.

Gage is a good source for generators.
I have a 30kw Cummins water cooled that I purchased from them 3 years ago. I also have a service contract with them and have been happy with them.
I am building a house in Western Carolina and attempted to get another cummins generator, but I was told that they are no longer manufacturing the residential generators so I am going with Kohler this time.
Good luck.

Yep. Was going to get a Cummins as well. I put it off from last year and back in November they halted production because of several engine issues they were having. I skipped on the generac as well since they went in house for motors vs the Mitsubishi one they used to use. Have a kohler 30kw going in 3-4 weeks
