Hi y'all!

I'm reaching out to ask for your advice on understanding the border crisis better. I've had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people from Haiti, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Sudan who have fled violence in their home countries. I can't help but wonder why America's processing of citizenship applications is so slow to help these people. Why do people demonize them for trying to pursue the American dream?

Any insights or perspectives you can share would be greatly appreciated!

How would you like me coming into your home, fricking your sister, and eating all of your groceries….all the while your door was locked, your sister didn’t want me to frick her, and you bought all of your groceries on credit?

I’ll wait for your response, your address, and pics of your sister and your pantry.

Your premise assumes that we should get whatever we desire. Let’s say I want someone else’s money because I don’t have any. Do I have a right to simply take it?
Many of the countries that are poor are poor because the people make bad decisions or put their faith in false gods and idols.
Simply wanting a better life is not an excuse to break the laws of the country you desire to enter.

What's so wrong with people moving to a new country? I don't get it.

My great grandfather immigrated from Ireland by way of Ellis Island. What's the difference?

They're not breaking the law by applying for US citizenship? An interpreter in Afghanistan fleeing the Taliban should be helped if they wish to move to America. I'm not talking about drug addicts crossing the border.

How many you gonna let in? Be specific. How many of the world's downtrodden do you suggest we let in every year?

Nothing. That’s why we have a legal process to acquire citizenship

Why do you hate drug addicts? In many cases they are addicted by no fault of their own. Have you studied the Purdue Pharma case?

You're talking about people from another country - it's very difficult and time consuming to verify their records, their backgrounds, etc.

This never happens.

People are demonized for being here and not assimilating. People are demonized for invading our sovereign land. People are demonized for harming Americans. People are demonized for having no respect for our borders, our laws, our culture, our citizens.

Aren’t we helping to supply the violence?

Let’s perform a small social experiment.

Remove the doors from your house. Advertise that on Reddit or Instagram or whatever social media you use, along with your address.

Come back after a year and relay your experiences of the folks who came in and what they did.

Remember it only take one to severely screw up your life of someone you care about.

And with a wide open Southern border millions are coming through.

swimming across the river - illegal/bad
jumping the wall - illegal/bad
coming through the port of entry - legal/good
