Weird that someone downvoted your post. Even if you don’t like the albums.

Regardless, two great, monster albums!

Two groundbreaking masterpieces. Side 3 of Zen Arcade is perfect.

I’ve never heard of them except the punk rock changed our lives line is an opening to sublime waiting for my ruca.

Which I’m guessing came from the history lesson song.

Oh sst is the label. I thought that was the name of the band. Still don’t know either of these bands.

I’m pretty sure everyone on this board has heard Corona by Minutemen (or at least part of it).

Pink Turns to Blue into Newest Industry does it for me every time. Zen Arcade stayed on my turntable for months when it came out, same for Double Nickles.

Favorite Minitemne album is The Punchline. Favorite Husker Du album is Metal Circus. The Savage Young Du box is killer too.

I have to pull that out... I bought it when it came out and enjoyed listening and reading through it... I kinda forget that I have it!! Numero does a good job with their reissues...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most know that song when they hear it.. even if they don't the name of it, the band or the album...

I always thought it was an interesting choice of song for that type of show, since its about the poverty of Mexico and a woman collecting bottles to care for her family... but its got a great sound!
