This will be our toughest challenge yet as the WSU has one of the toughest defenses in NCAA. Johnson will have to step it up, he did not do much the last couple of games and it seems when he is not on top of his game the rest of the team does not perform as well as they should. I hope that we have a good outing today this could really help us out and start bringing in some more fans. It is a shame to see such small crowds for the games, time to get back to the deaf dome.

It's going to be hard for that to happen without most of the student body in the same city.

It's still going to be a fun game.

I'd argue Texas A&M was a tougher test than WSU will be.

But you're right about Johnson. I expected him to get pushed around in the middle on defense this year, but I didn't expect him to struggle on offense. He has to get it going.

It's always like this in December when students are out and people are busy with the holidays. We'll have nice crowds in January.

The reason I am saying that is because WSU a very tough defense and has only allowed over 58 points to two teams this season, going to have a hell of a time getting into the paint. We have a great team but need to play more consistant across the board. Some of the games we played we have played lights out and others we came out flat, no reason mcneese and nichols should have even been close with the way we played against northwestern and others. Northwestern is better than those two were, we just simply did not show up, hopefully spencer is OK now and johnson is ready to play.

Lets Geaux Tigers and get it going. Lets show everyone that we do have a good quality program now.

If this is the toughest game up to this point in the season and Texas A&M beat LSU by 10 or so, I think WSU will beat LSU.

There were some bad calls in that game as well as some players not performing to their potential, I know we can win if they come out to play. I dont think we can simply say that because we lost to a&m by 10 we will loose this one.

Another factor is that Thornton was hurt and had to come out at the end. It was a hard fought battle.

I actually think A$M a more talented team than Wazzu and being as that game was basically a home game in reality for A$M I would say that was our toughest.

But Washington's brand of defense, some might call it dirty but Trent took the high road on that, will be a challenge.

As I said yesterday, how the game is called will be key. If physical play is allowed it will be tough. If they call it tight I think we win as I think we actually have the more talented starting 5.

I expect CJ to round back into form starting today. He averaged 11.6pts. and 8.5 boards in SEC play last year so he is a proven commodity who has not played to his ability much of this year. It starts today.

Geaux Tigers!!!

I grew up a Huskies fan, graduated from LSU, nothing would thrill me more then to beat the god damn Cougars. Is it okay to wear a husky jacket and LSU hat for this game?

I do know that Bennett is the best coach we've seen. We'll see what TJ has up his sleev to counter. Can't wait!

Granted it's been nearly 20 years since I was a student, but Christmas break didn't keep us away from the better games.

In reality a large portion of the LSU student body comed from within an hour of campus. I lived in New Roads and several of us would drive in for games at this time of year.

Never bought that argument.

Damn, I didn't realize that we're 346 out of 347 in terms of SOS.
