In the market for a new microwave. Does anyone have experiences with this type of microwave.

Mom just got a countertop microwave/air fryer and she likes it. I think there’s a bit of a learning curve, but she’s also never owned an air fryer before, so it may have just been that.

I had a kitchenaid and it was great. It did not have a great toast function like other air fryers but as a microwave/air fryer, it worked well.

I've seen these but always found them to be an odd combo considering the different cooking processes. A toaster oven/air fryer is logical, but I could never understood the microwave/air fryer. Seems a bit like a soldering iron/glue gun combo. You could combine them, but why would you?

Looked into these when our microwave broke last year. Everything I’ve read says they don’t excel as a microwave or an air fryer and it’s better to buy a separate microwave and small air fryer. Buying separate also gives you the ability to multitask if needed, which is something we do often but I hadn’t considered when I was shopping.
