How does West Virginia, Virginia tech & Indiana land some of the top DT’s in the portal & we end up with the D2 transfer, juco bounce back and a guy that could barely see the field at Wisconsin. I’m still blown away how this staff knew where our weak points were & totally dropped the ball on fixing them.

Best DTs in the portal do not necessarily mean SEC caliber.

BK is recruiting well and it’s starting to come around on defense. But the job we did in this years portal was pretty bad. We knew we needed a solid D tackle and we whiffed

It should never have gotten to that point to begin with. That's the bigger issue.

We really didn’t.... the price for the talent provided did not match the price tag. You’ll see when Nolen is just a body @ OM.

Level of Paez disrespect from LSU fan base is incredible. He’s the same caliber player, at worst, of nearly all the transfer portal DTs, but he transferred quietly before the crazy bidding wars for replacement level players began and now he’s constantly getting shite on for no reason.

Seriously, the dude started on one of the better D-Lines in the country on the interior and people think he’s some scrub lol.
