I've used VBD in the past and had a lot of success with it. Somehow I lost the spreadsheet I'd built with all of the formulas.

Do any of you use the VBD strategy? If yes, do you use your own spreadsheet to plug in all of your data, or do you use one off of the many sites on line?

There is a good app named Draft Dominator. Put in your scoring and roster limits and it practically drafts for you.

I use my own as a basic framework, but never follow it religiously. It worked much better before the turn of the century when I was the only one doing it and everyone else walked into the draft with a magazine.

Those were the glory days of fantasy football...when actual knowledge meant something. Now, my 85 year old mother could be competitive with an expert's up-to-the-minute cheat sheet (or a composite cheat sheet from thousands of experts) in hand.

Why all leagues should be auction.

I’d rather an auction league versus a snake draft

I love an auction league.

Funny thing is that before all of the internet fantasy overkill, we did auction leagues to help out people who had less knowledge. As long as they could manage their budget, they could compete by bidding like everyone else.

Now, auction leagues are considered more difficult/strategic. They don’t require more football knowledge, but at least you do have to manage your budget.
