Loved it! Wish I could have spent more time there. The Vasa Museum was particularly fascinating.

Stockholm is my favorite city in the world. April could still be pretty cold though. We were just there over memorial day, our third time in Sweden, and the weather was fantastic.

Djurgarden is next to downtown and is a beautiful park and island that includes the Vasa Museum. You can rent a bike and go around the island. Great way to get around.

I would highly recommend going out to the archipeligo is the weather is good. Uto is a good island to visit and has a good restaruant and tons of hiking trails. You can uber easily down to the dock and the ferry is about an hour. Truly amazing place. Other good islands include Orno, Runmaro, and Sandhamn.

Sodermalm is the more trendy island and has tons of good bars and resturants. Rolfs Kok is just north of the center and has great food and isn't overly expensive.

It's a great time to go to Sweden. The dollar is very strong against the krona and basically everything was very reasonable. Norway is a different story.

I second the Vasa museum. It may sound odd but it was a highlight of our Northern Europe trip.

The Vasa is great.

The metro station designs are attractions on their own.

Great city, you'll have fun.

I spent most of my time simply walking around the city.

The Swedish History Museum was interesting. The Stockholm City Museum was surprisingly interesting. Go see the changing of the guard at the palace.

The Nobel Museum wasn't very good.

The best plate of food I had was an Italian place called Carls Deli in a food hall called Hötorgshallen.
