I’ve downloaded a VPN app just don’t know how to work it

Not sure about Hulu but Netflix will not run if it senses an VPN. You may want to test before leaving.

I used VPN Unlimited while in Spain and was able to stream ESPN. I didn’t try Hulu. Just connected to a US-based server and boom.

Best thing to do for traveling is to set up a private VPN server in your primary residence. That way you’re certainly not hiding from anyone, but you can travel and surf like you’re at home. Probably some simple instructions online.

It depends on your device. Hulu seems great at detecting a VPN on iOS, seems spotty on windows, but this can also change at any second.
I usually used the CBS Sports or ESPN apps when overseas, which didn’t notice my use of vpn unlimited Back then.
