So I recently received a diagnosis of an antibody deficiency. Basically, my body doesn’t produce a certain antibody and so I get several upper respiratory and ear infections per year. Doc recs antibody infusions. What’s the OT brain trust have to say? TIA

Yea IVIG infusions; they do help.

But I’d also recommend to check your Vitamin D level while you’re at it, and make sure to get frequent small doses of sun exposure (10-15min).

Negative. Good question though! I should have clarified that in my original post. Had the VID twice, but no vax.

OMAD and carnivore diet.

Give your body what it needs to produce the antibodies and you will be good to go.

Big pharma won't like you though.

No, not yet. Have read people who are very satisfied.
I’m considering it…

Screw big pharma. What is OMAD and do you speak from experience with these diets as it relates to antibody or autoimmune diagnoses??

One meal a day.

Carnivore diet is anything animal based. Just be careful with dairy and honey.

This diet will provide you with everything you need and allow your body to heal from the standard american diet which causes tons of diseases, one of which you suffer from.

You tube Ken Berry, Anthony Chaffee and Sean Baker to find out more.

SAD is really just AIDS with the letters all mixed up and an I added.

Except fiber, for one

I’m sure eating one meal a day, no carbs, and only meat can help people lose weight; but even those with minimal knowledge of nutrition will intuitively know it’s probably not healthy and certainly not a cure-all.

Being you have Specific antibody deficiency and not Combined antibody deficiency, IVIG may not be an option.

Look into the immune deficiency foundation (IDF) for resources and support. They are a great organization.
