If we don't get Moore in this class, it will suck. But I think Berry is going to be a better advantage then Moore. With berry, you basically have a player that can play rb and wr.

What made Clyde so great for us was his ability to catch the ball anywhere. Underwood and Berry have already started to build that chemistry playing 7 on 7 together. Ideal situation would be nuss to come back his senior year and get Underwood playing time as well. Wouldn't worry about his redshirt because in today's game, you don't see many QBs playing for long stints unless it's a small school.

And love the fact Underwood and Berry aren't taking visits to other schools. They know exactly were they want to be and how special they could be at LSU.

If Nuss comes back in 2025 Underwood will push him. He's that good.

I am sure he will. But not rushing in to start as a true freshman wouldn't be the worst thing. Gives him more time to learn the playbook and read defenses. What made Joe so great was he knew where everyone was supposed to be at all times. He was fanatic about studying game film. But I wouldn't be mad if Bryce is good enough from day one to start.

Slim chance we land any of the remaining 5 star wrs. We will land some good in-state wrs though no worries.

With the way Brad Davis building the Oline, Berry, and Underwood the WR position is not a concern.

It would be ideal for Nuss to come back for his Sr yr, but don't assume that Collins and hurley won't compete for #2 spot, and #1 spot the following yr

Kaleb Jackson, Durham, Berry and Lindsey should make a lethal RB rotation.

I think there's a fair chance we get Moore.

Even if we don't, Louisiana has always produced plenty of terrific receivers.

And like you say, Berry can catch. He has looked impressive in the 7-on-7 games with Underwood.

I hope, however, that it is not just Underwood and Berry who go down in LSU lore, I hope it's a whole gaggle of #1 prospects, IOL, S, CB, WR, etc. and other talented players who go down in LSU lore as the most talented team in college football history. It could happen.

After watching Burrow, Chase, Jefferson and Marshall ; after seeing Daniels, Nabers and Thomas and seeing LSU add the #1 QB and overall prospect to the roster, there should be elite WRs lining up to play at LSU.

Whether Moore comes back or not, I agree we will be fine at WR.

Just wanted to add Underwood/Nuss would have on the roster -
Sampson 6’4
Trey’Dez 6’6
Kylan Billiot 6’4

All with 1+ year with the program. Lots of size and speed at the WR position, paired with a NASTY OLine.

It's going to be like a better version of Marcus Mariota and DeAnthony Thomas.

Isn’t Taron Francis on that 7on7 team? He might not be a 5star but you never know what these La. Boys will do when they get to LSU. They could very well be dynamic in our passing system.

Underwood will be great but he better stop doing them cartwheels. Mason Smith ruined his career celebrating.

Why? Is it because Texas is going to buy all of them?

Underwood doesn’t have 350 lbs coming down on his knees like Maason did.
