Watson Brake in Ouachita Parish.

It is older than the Egyptian Pyramids and Stonehenge.

Driven past the gate to get in there several times but it’s all on private property and you can’t see much of anything from the road. It’ just goes to show you West Monroe was better than Monroe 5000 years ago as well.

Our state has a varied and unique history that pretty much goes unnoticed and untold.

No. Maybe this is enough incentive to entice Arkansas into finally taking it.

The Indian Mounds in LSU may actually be twice as old as Watson Brake. It's still being determined. They do know they're over 5000 years old.

And in 2014, the site achieved perhaps the highest honor of all: UNESCO named Poverty Point a World Heritage Site. There are only three other archaeological sites in the U.S. with that distinction.
