Wife and I are headed to Aspen on June 16 for an anniversary trip. We were looking for recs on companies to use for rafting/kayaking, horseback rides and spa treatments. We are going to do a few easy hikes and mountain bike trails on our own.
Also, restaurant recs would be helpful too. Especially for our anniversary dinner.
TIA

I’ve used Aspen Whitewater a few times. Always left happy

We are in shape but 50 and 51 years old. Easy to mild is great for us.

They have a trip called slaughterhouse falls that’s a class IV that you should be fine with.

Anniversary dinner should be Cache Cache.

buy a timed entry pass to maroon bells and go do that hike. You can stop at the main event of keep going to several additional lakes behind it

Maroon Bells
Agree with this.
quote:Disagree. Kananaskis country / Banff holds that title but Maroon Bells could be a very close second.

I think we are scrapping the horseback ride in the mountains. We can hike the same areas as the horseback riders but for free. I booked a raft trip with Aspen Whitewater. Thanks for that recommendation.

Stop along independence pass and jump in the devils punchbowl. Also a good place for a picnic on the rocks.
