From what others have said, our numbers are low right now compared to where they usually are. We probably don’t have to make much room. Bucknam, Roelig and Mitchell have already entered the portal. Ruddel supposedly isn’t on the team anymore. That’s 4 already.

There will be several players with decisions to make on the draft or an easier path to playing time. I can see several more OF leaving with the presumed starters of Brown, Pearson and Larson returning. I can also see them getting creative and moving 1 of those guys or Frey to 1B. We also have pitchers that might surprise people and get drafted or transfer.

Should be an interesting offseason

I think putting yourself in a position where you need Frey to completely jump up 3 levels of play to be a good team is a mistake

i’ve seen very little from him. obviously guys change and mature but you have to have options.

If they don’t spend a Ton of $$ in the Portal next year will be the worst LSU Team in the last 20 years. We are basically losing all offensive production and starting pitching. Need at least 3-4 starters and 3-4 Big Bats. Can’t see us spending that much $$
