The RAID hornet spray won't reach high enough. It's on my house so shotgun and fire is out of the question. It's still a very small nest but growing. I really don't want to have to pay someone to climb up there in a bee suit to get rid of it.

This kind, but still in a small phase. THis is not actual pic, this is a stock photo from online to show what a hornet is because there is debate on this board on what is a hornet vs wasp vs paper wasp vs ground hornet vs yellow jacket and so forth.

Do your damage at night. NO lights. Heavy soap spray or water.

if you don't show fear they won't attack you. Kinda like bears. Just get on a tall step ladder and stuff it into a walmart bag. These kinda things do well on youtube so get someone to film it and you may get some ad revenue monies.

From the ground, about 50 feet vertically. Maybe more.

From a side deck on the second floor it's about 35 feet diagonally and up.

It's a two story house with a full basement, but it's on a slope. So, from the front it is a two story house. From the back it's a 3 story house. The hornets are on the highest point on the back of the house. It's high.

Can you get to it from the roof? Or is it one of those Everest type roofs with a hell of a pitch?

Does this kill them, or just piss them off?

This is worth exploring, but I don't own a pressure washer. I know nothing of them. I'd hate to have to become a pressure washer expert and owner just to get rid of a hornets nest, but my ears are open.

Dawn dishwashing soap is the best and cheapest insect killer I’ve ever seen. Wasp and bees can’t fly after they have been hit. They breathe through their skin so you get to watch them suffocate.

I fill squirt bottles to take down any wasps. A couple tablespoons per squirt bottle.

Maybe find a super soaker.

An electric pressure waster like the ryobi would do the job and. not break your budget..

It's also handy as shite to have for four wheelers and cars. Works great. Been using mine formyears

Hose end sprayer like this might reach.

That’s what.I use. Put a tablespoon or so of dawn in the reservoir then fill with water. Remove the deflector on the tip that creates a wide spray and you get a concentrated line of water that reaches pretty far.
