How will New York cops prevent the Secret Service from doing their job is more important.

The state can sentence him to 160 million years. What authority do they have to confine him according to federal law?

I would assume whatever the max punishment is, if not more.

Don’t know, but I’m sure they will try to hamstring the campaign. Apparently, most of the people convicted under this have received no jail time. And in cases like this I think it is common that the sentence doesn’t start pending appeal, which wou probably be well post election.

I don’t know what will happen, but if I had to guess I would say that this whole affair will be forgotten and a non-issue come October.

I support Trump bro. They're gonna do some gay arse probation with home confinement on him.

If it holds up…big if

He will be sitting around in his Versace boxers, getting blowies from Melania, and eating meals cooked by the best chefs in the world, while dems continue to bitch about the cost to replace their EV battery, and try to convince normal adults that men can get pregnant.

Someone posted that the sentence begins only after appeals process is completed.

Not sure if that’s true or not but it makes sense.

Upvoted. Not because I agree, but because I respect your thinking.

And in cases like this
Not too many previous cases have had a judge with Stage 4 Severe TDS and also had Trump himself as the defendant. Throw what is common out the window.

If that’s true it’s huge because this will eventually be overturned
