If both # 2 seeds in a regional (LSU & DBU) advance as regional winners. what would determine which #2 seed hosts the super-regional?

DBU has a 17 rpi and was a strong contender to be a regional host

I don't think it would be a lock that LSU would host over them

If they are equally seeded teams, the official tiebreaker as stated on the NCAA’s website is “the committee shall review the hosting proposals according to the site selection criteria (e.g., quality and availability of the facility, revenue potential and other available accommodations) to determine the host. If only one of the teams has submitted a proposal, that team shall host if the proposal is acceptable.”

I think I heard on local radio yesterday that a contingency bid has already been submitted. No way DBU could outbid us.

Meaning the would be the criteria would be this....

vs.

this...

The NCAA just agreed to a settlement where they owe a little bit of money to a lot of people now. So I suspect the revenue they could collect from 10,500 people willing to pay a premium would be more enticing than that from 2,000 people.

I’m sure this is the key phrase. Follow the money. I’m sure this is the key phrase. I will the money. I’m sure it would be in Baton Rouge.

Aka if LSU wins and Arizona loses, LSU will absolutely be hosting.

Didn’t Tenner travel to Hattiesburg last year? Not saying LSU didn’t outbid DBU, but it’s not a given just because we’re a bigger program

No, LSU hosting would mean more money for college baseball so they would get the bid.

Yeah, probably because Southern Miss had a greater capacity than Tennessee.
