I guess beating them twice in Hoover didn’t mean much to the committee.

UNC:

Record: 42-13
Home: 32-2
RPI: 4

NC State:

Record: 33-20
Home: 25–7
RPI: 15

Florida, alabama, south carolina with very favorable draws.
Tell me LSU was probably not making the tourny without the run in the sec tournament

If this team makes a run to Omaha through this draw, no one can say shite about them.

Some of you are always looking for reasons to be a victim. The world is not out to get LSU. We were going to have to play in someone's regional, and that someone was always going to be a solid baseball team.

Are we still getting screwed by matching up with Arizona in a super?

It's not going to be an easy road. It never is. But nobody is out to screw LSU.

This. Get through Chapel Hill and the super matchup is favorable.

The committee loves storylines as we know. If that’s our super pairing then they must believe we have a better chance than not of manifesting an LSU-UA matchup

Not to me. Seems favorable if they get out of Chapel Hill.

It’s an observation. If you don’t like, feel free to scroll pass it.

That's one option, but the other is to pop in and tell you that you are acting like a soft bitch. That's the option I chose.

It would be nice to see more respect paid to the SEC considering it’s far and away the strongest baseball conference. It would stand to reason that beating UGA, UK, USC twice and taking UT to the wire would have made us a stronger two seed, but it wasn’t a screw job by any means.

Committees have a different set of rules and biases every season. In a different year, we are probably a higher rated two seed. But not this year. It is what it is.

That’s why I thought they would send us to NC State. The Tommy White connection there would have been pretty interesting.

The committee has never given a shite about the sec tournament

Yet every year people get surprised by it

If that were 100% the case, we would be a 3 seed. We were still just on the in side of the bubble after sweeping Ole Miss.

We got 11 teams in. Something the rant said was impossible whenever they were trying to say LSU would be left out. There is a ton of SEC host teams, and plenty more in the 2-3 seed range. There is only so many places to send them.

At the end of the day the committee placed LSU as a reasonably weak 2 seed.

Heading into the SEC tournament, that would have been viewed as almost an impossible task...and we didn't even win the tournament.

LSU was treated fairly.

Now, did SC get too good a seed? Sure.

We had a tough arse draw last year as well. Oregon State in the regional and Wake and Tenn in our Omaha bracket. We can do it again.

This is false. We played ourselves from first 4 out/last 4 in to a 2 seed all because of the tournament. Of course, that's not enough for some fans because they will still feel victimized because of who we play. If it wasn't the regional, they would be crying about the super pairing.

the fact that Florida wasn't even in the "Last 4 In" spot says an insane amount considering they were one game above .500
