You’re cherry picking that one verse and ignoring the rest of the Bible. Does God set the standard of loving your neighbor when he baits Adam and Eve, when he destroys nearly all life in the flood, when he rains fire on Sodom from the Elohim in heaven, or when he commands Moses and Joshua to commit genocide? What about when God murders the Egyptian animals and firstborn? Does Jesus set the example of living thy neighbor when he says to hate your family and that he brought a sword to slay all the unrighteous and non believers? Does Paul love his neighbors when he says he hopes the knife slips and the gentiles being circumcised gets their dicks cut off? Does Moses and Yahweh treat the 32 Midianite virgins as their neighbors? What about when Yahweh commands the Israelites to kill other neighboring tribes and destroy neighboring cities? Is that neighborly? What about when god says to stone rebellious children, witches, adulterers, sorcerers, and futtbuckers? There is nothing objective in the Bible about how to treat your neighbor. Try again.

I forgot a good one too. We are supposed to be locked in an eternal struggle from generation to generation with the Amalekites. If you see an Amalekite baby, you should kill it on the spot. Not very neighborly.
