I listened to the whole thing via Megyn's podcast. I've made a few longer posts on it already, but yes, she absolutely ate Maher's lunch.

She opened with a warm "we probably agree on a lot" tone. Then when they got into the meat of the discussion, and she started hitting him with facts, figures, quotes, and legal explanations, Maher became dismissive of her (dropped a lot of 'if that's the way you see it') and said, "we don't agree on anything" when he realized she had the upper hand.

I was stunned out how little he knows about the J6ers and the cases against Trump. Once they got past Trump and his obvious TDS, they moved on to trans issues and Biden's pandering to blacks where they did find a bit more agreement.

Overall, he was only there to plug his book. He was not prepared and probably thought he could just show up and talk down the other person as he often does and that it would land. It didn't. Megyn was prepared and, at least courteously, made him look ridiculous IMO.
