The ultimate irony is that when you boil it all down Maher hates Trump because Trump claims the 2020 election was stolen--or in other words, Maher hates Trump because Trump is politically incorrect.

But factually correct. It may take half of his next term to prove it to the windowlickers, but it'll eventually be understood.

Maher has said that he understands why many people will vote for Trump, because even though they don't like him, they see him as a bulwark against the extreme excesses of the Biden administration.
