Heard this being talked about the other day. Last four CWS Champs didn’t win the SEC Tournament. All four from SEC. Due to format (double elimination) thought is you put too much on your pitching to take care of what’s ahead of you. That being said how does CJJ play this due to the big win today. A lot on here say we are a lock now to make the NCAA Tournament. I’m torn, I think we may need another win to be a lock.

For teams not on the bubble, winning the SEC Tournament has proven to be detrimental to NCAA tournament performances.

We just need to go out and play baseball. No need to overwork any pitchers to get the job done. Win if we can win, but not at the expense of any players. I'm sure that's how JJ will approach it.

Kim Mulkey and Jay Johnson give no fuqs about winning the conference tournament. The Natty is the prize

Yeah I’d feel better winning tomorrow. My concern is lesser teams getting hot and lucky and winning their tournaments. The SEC absolutely should get 11, but what if enough bid-stealers emerge and we only get 9 for example? Let’s defeat Kentucky tomorrow.

You know what’s crazy, and it happens every year. All we need to do is sweep Ole Miss and we’re in. Then people say we need to beat Georgia to get in. Now people are saying we need to beat Kentucky to get in. ??

At this point if you can win it with offense that’s fine but I wouldn’t worry about it to the point to working the pitching more than needed. That’s obvious.

I love winning this tournament. Even when it doesn’t mean anything. Beating this field is a huge accomplishment.

Pitch Holman today if you win or lose, I think you pitch Hurd.
If you win today and lose tomorrow then it’s whoever you want to see that may be needed next week. If you win you play Saturday and use someone you have confidence in that can chew up innings.
