Is it the first gen engine or 2nd?

1st gen I believe. I think they went to 2nd gen in 2023.

It’s only been 11 months, but i have 30k troublefree miles on my ‘23 LZ0 Duramax.

I’m in a lot of these FB groups where they show lots of problems. But i gave seen polls where a majority of the people in the group don’t have problems.

But my general observation, these trucks are not made to be driven every day in a metro area. Needs to be driven long miles, let the engine warm up, allow the def regen cycle to work properly. This pretty much goes for all modern diesels.

If it makes you feel any better, the truck comes with a 100k drivetrain warranty, you could find a dealership that offers “lifetime”.Emissions warranty is 80k miles.
