how did you miss the black people in russia from 1890-1917 i posted right below that?

the casting may be DEI, but it wasn't "things that would never have happened is as glaring as having Henry the 8th wearing an Apple watch." as the OP stated. there were definitely black people in the communist movement in russia during the timeframe of the show.

race wasn't discussed in the show. I feel like they covered the material well in 8 episodes without adding any of that. it was a really good show IMO and Mcgregors character and his interactions with other people while dealing with the communist villains were the focus of the story.
