I am a Catholic, but this applies to probably just about every other Christian denomination as well.

Priests and preachers speak 99% of the time about great values: justice, love, peace, forgiveness, etc

These are inclusive of everyone. But the left likes to take our positions on abortion and sexuality and use that to portray us as spewers of hate.

I looked around the Church as “Taste and See” was sung by the cantor. People sitting reverently with their families. We are portrayed as haters. And it is remarkable

The left burns cities to the ground proudly and shrilly screaming “frick you haters!”

I just wish there were a grand commercial going back and forth between a serene church environment and a radical group rioting (in masks) shrieking about how “hateful” people like my family and I are for praying in church

You will never convince me that I'm spewing hate by believing that unborn, yet already conceived, humans developing in the womb of the mother should not be killed.

You will never convince me that I'm spewing hate by repeating the Word of GOD, that homosexuality is an abomination.

I'm not personally condemning people who choose to engage in abortion or homosexuality. That's their choice of their own free will, and I have no influence. It's between them and the Creator. I simply understand that their actions are already condemned.

Leave me out of it. I'm not all up in their faces forcing the truth upon them. It's them, that are out every moment of every day shoving their lifestyle and choices in my face and demanding that I not only accept it but also embrace it. Sorry not sorry. Ain't gonna happen.

No church would allow that to go on air because it would be seen as "tooting your own horn" (and hateful towards non-believers). You have to find a way to get people to show up to church in larger numbers and see for themselves.

Catholic here, and I agree with you. I often observe how well attendees from all walks of life get along in the Church. None of that racist hate speech we see daily from media and politicians.

The readings today were pretty hard on sinners. Trust me I’m not talking down to anyone. I’m guilty of a lot of these. Thank God for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

‘Brothers and sisters, live by the Spirit
and you will certainly not gratify the desire of the flesh.
For the flesh has desires against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh;
these are opposed to each other,
so that you may not do what you want.
But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Now the works of the flesh are obvious:
immorality, impurity, lust, idolatry,
sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy,
outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness,
dissensions, factions, occasions of envy,
drinking bouts, orgies, and the like.
I warn you, as I warned you before,
that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Wait - the Catholic Church has cantors? Like Al Jolson in The Jazz Singer?

Do you bus them in from local synagogues?
