Bridgerton | Netflix | Season 3 (spoilers)

First half of the season hit yesterday, just finished watching them with the lady of the house.
Ol' Chubs getting fingerblasted in the back of the carriage got the wife wetter then she's been since the fem-rape scene in season 1 of the show four fricking years ago. Good on that actress for putting herself out there like that.
Lord Naturalist is living the high life. Richer than shite with one of the largest manors in the country, taking multi-year trips just to chase his whims. All he's looking for is a piece of arse to hold the fort down while he's gone and keep his bed warm while he's there and Chubs threw it all away "for love".
Francesca is fine as frogs hair, hopefully we get some action from her after the mid season break and Elouise is low key hot too. That cougar setting a trap for the eldest Bridgerton baw is fiesty.

I agree. She would get what she wants and he would get what he needs. The only concern is that the day after he leaves for his trip she would be deep dicking every baw in London and clearly homeboy wouldn't be down with that.

I read an interview this morning where she takes about wanting to make a point about body positivity after everyone made fun her the last two seasons for being fat.
Apparently they have a sex scene later in the season. When her and Colin's actor met with the intimacy coordinator she pushed hard to add some really flagrant, wild shite above and beyond what was originally planned. She said after the scene her and Colin's actor were just laying under the sheet naked next to each other for a few minutes physically exhausted.
I wouldn't give her a second look in real life, but frick it. I'm in.

I’ve only watched the first the episodes but this season they are really throwing the woke shite right in our faces. The first 2 had some subtle stuff but it wasn’t to bad. This season they aren’t even trying make it subtle.

I have to admit that I actually enjoy the show. My wife got me hooked on it.
For once, the DEI casting doesn't really bother me. Maybe it's because they're all British. LOL
They did say in the beginning that the Bridgerton universe is an alternate reality Regency era Britain, so I knew what I was getting into.
The Queen Charlotte companion series was actually better than the main show.

On the scale of wokeness it really isn't that bad. There aren't a lot of fig's or chick's with dicks being tossed around, just a few interracial marriages.
I get being bothered by the whole LGBTQIA++FJSYAOTH-FJW/W consortium thatvwr get hammered to shite with, but I really don't understand the hate people give to the idea of black people and white people getting married to each other.
I don't think Jesus was down with dudes fricking dudes, but I don't recall him hollering about skin color as much.
