have seen quite a few BJJ guys get their arse kicked in street fights

To be fair, BJJ is not really a striking martial art unless you go to a school that has a picture of Helio Gracie on the wall that you bow to before class starts. With that being said, we do teach some limited striking along with a pretty good base of self-defense that will get you out of a bind in most situations. However, if you are getting into street fights with legit boxers or MMA guys, you are probably going home with an arse beating or worse. So, moral of the story is stay out of street fights even if you are a Black Belt in BJJ or take some boxing lessons as well.

Or if you win, you just get jumped or shot after.

Who’s that Tasmanian devil looking dude that’s been training kids all up and down Old Jefferson since the 90’s? Did he hit gold since all this went mainstream?
