How many souls will be saved because of that monstrosity? I wonder if Jesus would approve of the opulence.

True ignorance, my friend. It is a tribute to God and maybe the greatest artistic architectural achievement in modern history. You are essentially mocking the cost of The Sistine Chapel. It is in many ways one of the zeniths of human achievement, a testament to the spirit of humanity, and to be enjoyed by all. Not to mention that when people enter probably nearly half weep or are overcome ( even if silently) with the spirit of The Creator. Atheists go here and get it completely. You should consider being less snarky and more open to the rare human victory that La Sagrada Familia is.
