Gordon Gekko meets The Big Short.
If what he says is true about the interconnectedness of the positions and the balance sheets of the FIs with the derivatives... ouch.

Can the investment companies protect their stock short sales by putting some kind of a stop loss on the price?

I’m no expert. But, with commercial real estate about to shite the bed, the crap ton of money we’re sending everywhere but here, and the ever second rising deficit, the only way to stop what this guy is talking about would be another halt or freeze on trading. That might be enough to piss off people enough to do something

Lol. I followed that story when it first started. Had no idea it was still going. The liars commissioned media coverage to lie for them about having closed out their shorts? This guy is right. F__k them. Diamond hands to destroy their temples.

I agree with you. But it does mean …. I need a beer.
If no one bends …. Another beer.

But here is a major secondary issue.. There are 300% more “shares” floating than there are actual shares. Yes, that means there are counterfeit shares. The reason banks/hedge funds do this is they “sell” a share without actually owning it (profit) and then never have to provide that share once the company goes bankrupt. The longer GME never goes bankrupt, and in fact increases in price…it gets worse exponentially. This is why all the apes (common plebes) will never sell.
