This is an age of mass acquisitions and poor management. We're seeing it in video games all the time. MS purchases lots of little studios, promises to let them do their thing, and then at some point realize bottom line doesn't make sense, so they get shuttered.
I know we are dying to blame Joe for all of it, but there really is a basic misunderstanding of what to blame/credit Joe for, just like there was a misunderstanding of what to blame/credit Trump for. Someone gets a platform, "thanks Biden", and we just go with it without understanding every factor that goes into affecting whatever it is we're blaming him for.
And yes, same happened to Trump.

you made it a Biden/Trump thing. I’m simply asking how a massive conglomerate could fall out of favor after this long.

it’s a natural conclusion considering the current administration hasn’t exactly done much to help the national economy. unless i missed something?

Sears is on line one and would like a word with you. K-Mart is holding on line two.
You’d be surprised how many idiots are running big companies.

fair examples.
could Red Lobster be a “blockbuster” type example in business 101 books? as in they didn’t adapt their menu/pricing to the economic climate?
i guess Applebees and Chilis are on notice now too?

I’m surprised RL has lasted as long as it has. I remember my old man taking me to eat there in 1990 and that was high class to my 8-year-old self.
Not sure I ever ate there again. I did apply for a bartending job at one in Honolulu right when I graduated college and was bumming around Hawaii. They hired me but I flew back to the mainland before ever working a shift.

Moody's changing their credit rating to poor under the previous administration is a fricking huge thing you've managed to somehow gloss right on over. They were on life support before Brandon, how'd that happen

Sears collapsed because of the pension costs from their retired employees, which made them uncompetitive.
K Mart just found ways to keep fricking up over the course of 30 years.
