This is the 2nd recent story where Uber has gotten people fricked over. The first was that old man who was being harassed by scammers and the scammers called an Uber driver to go to his house.
Now we have an Uber driver picking up a 13 year old runaway and causing the driver to get guns pulled on him by a pissed off dad.
Uber really needs to revise some of its policies. It's almost like they thought about none of these issues before going live with their business. A driver should never be picking up an unaccompanied minor.

I agree 100%. Who are all these downvoters that can’t see why a father would be upset? We must have a bunch of pedos on this board, because a grown man should never under any exception be picking up a random 13 year old girl unaccompanied by a parent/ guardian.
